Sabine appears in the May 2012 issue of Glam Jam Magazine. The following is an excerpt from the Sabine's Glam Jam interview; reprinted with permission of Sabine:

"I’m Sabine Keulen, a 30 year old model from a small village near Arnhem in The Netherlands. I’m a professional model since I was 18. I also act and do voice-over work in Dutch and English. Also I did some presentation jobs. On top of that I work in the professional care. I only do things I’m passionate about in my work and in my life. I love the human interaction aspect in my work. Also, I’m an animal lover and I run a stray-kitten shelter in my free-time. When I then have any time left I like to relax on my couch watching a good movie or cook for friends.

I enjoy my busy life. I’m glad not a single day is alike. This makes me feel alive!

1) SABINE, HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH GLAMOUR MODELING ?

I actually was more interested in acting then modeling. When I decided to go to an agency, I ended up at a modeling agency. In the beginning I thaught modeling was not that interesting because my view was biased by the image created by the media. I didn’t saw modeling in the same way as acting, but it turned out to have far more simaliarities then I expected. For example, if you’re in commercial photography it is very important as a model to realize that you need to sell a product. As a model you need to bring the right pose and expression to make the final picture look great and make the people believe in the product. It is not just having a beautifull smile but you need to add extra depth that only a human can give!

2) HOW IS THE GLAMOUR MODELING INDUSTRY LIKE IN THE NETHERLANDS?

In The Netherlands the public view on glamour modeling is greatly influenced by Playboy magazine. The public thinks that glamour models are mostly naked or topless shoots. The origin of the glamour models is actually from the earlier pin-up models and they weren’t naked, just sexy and elegant. That’s why I call myself more a commercial model, where I love to be sexy but stylish. Covered nudity is okay, but it has to remain classy. I do not think that topless is more sexy then lingerie shoots. I’ve met photographers which were able to make the most sexy covered nude pictures, but also others which produced rather taggy pictures with clothes on. I call myself a commercial model because I do not want to limit myself in any direction and I see modeling as a form of art. And art is not something that is limited in a definition!

3) WHO INSPIRED YOU IN BECOMING A GLAMOUR MODEL ?

There is not anyone who I inspired me, but I do get inspired by great photographers, make-up artists and stylists. I want to constantly re-invent myself in modeling by personal growth everyday. I firmly believe that growing as a person will also make me a better model, so my best pictures have yet to come!

4) WHAT IS YOU’RE MAIN OBJECTIVE AS A GLAMOUR MODEL?

I want people to see my pictures not as just a pretty face, but I want them to see or feel emotion! It’s like a movie for me where the image must say more then a thousand words.

5) WHAT PART OF THAT SEXY BODY ARE YOU THE MOST PROUD OF?

I can make a sexy or a real tough pose, but the eyes will never lie. I try to use my face, and my eyes in particular, to bring my body alive in the best possible way. During actingclasses I learned to use my entire body. Every part is essential in delivering the best pose possible. One hand out of direction and a potential great picture can turn out to be worthless. But still, the eyes can make a good picture become a great picture! ..."
